Studio

My client wanted a back studio and storage shed to serve this dual purpose. The shed needed to be large enough to store bicycles and a lawnmower and garden tools, so the roofline was built high to be able to take advantage of extra space to hang large items. A hidden door was designed to allow for a more seamless look to the overall aesthetic.

The studio space was built as a natural, unfinished space with high ceilings and a lovely white oak flooring. The entire structure was wired for electricity, and a streamlined euro space heater was mounted in the studio for the artist owner to do her work.

A side patio has French doors that open to western afternoon sunlight and has a small patio for enjoying a sit outdoors on a late summer's eve.
