My wonderful client had asked me for a new planting scheme, along with a lighting plan, for her front garden, to be prepared over the cool months so they could implement it in the spring 2026. They asked to remove all of the existing shrubbery and come up with a design that would provide a beautiful new palette while also serving the purpose of addressing hiding hydro and a large air conditioner, as well as consideration for snow placement along the driveway such that plant material there could withstand snow piles during the winter months.

Her neighbourhood is filled with classic local architecture and so we wanted to create a new vision that would complement both her home and her surroundings. Limelight hydrangeas are the cornerstone of this garden design, providing a range of beautiful colours throughout the season, from white upon first bloom through to lime green and then pink in the autumn months. This also includes a border of inkberry hollies and new yew shrubs that will hide appliances and create a nice structure for all seasons.
